No surgery needed on my Dad’s Achilles tendon!

My Dad has been very dutiful about wearing his patches. He went to his doctor’s appointment this morning, after about 26 days, mostly worried and doubtful.

What did the doctor find?

A working Achilles tendon! No surgery needed.

My dad also wore a boot about 80% of the time to immobilize the area. This remarkable healing is a testimony to the patch’s effectiveness. Thanks to those of you who weighed in on how to patch. It worked! My parents are SO happy. And they just ordered another month’s worth of patches to keep putting on as he begins physical therapy on it.
